celeste Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 Any other Sherlock Holmes fans in Fugee land that are thinking " no way will it be as good as Jeremy Brett's Sherlock " ? yes I know it's a modern take, but Jeremy blew every other actor out of the water with his witty portrayal , I was so disappointed with the Bob Downey Jnr film I can't help but view this latest bash with a big dollop of scepticism. celeste Posted July 25, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 Well it was pretty good, rather amusing, but the plot was pretty thin, even I had twigged it was the Cabbie, and that the "arch enemy" was Mycroft, having said that it was good that they hadn't tried to rehash the original Conan Doyle stories, that really wouldn't have worked, and thank god he didn't say " the games afoot " cos as all Sherlock fans know, he never said that, and as for the "three patch problem ", honestly, how very pc , dunno if it was really Sherlock but it was enjoyable.
