lil_angel
At around 4.20pm on 30th December I picked up a panicked voicemail from Lynne (Toddsmum). Her vet had rung her to say that someone had brought in a healthy 12 year old dog and wanted him pts as apparently the owner was too ill to care for him. The vet refused but desperately needed to find him a rescue place by closing time or they would have no other choice but to pts. After speaking with the rest of the committee and finding more details about the dog - Buster, we managed to find a foster home but wouldnt be able to move him until the following day. The vets agreed to keep him overnight for us. Next day Lynne went to pick Buster up and to meet his fosterer at Leigh Delemare services so he could continue on his journey to Bracknell. Then disaster struck the fosterer rang to say the car had broken down and she couldnt come get him. Thankfully Ange & Rob stepped in offering an emergency foster home. Buster now Jasper has settled in well with the other dogs over the past couple of days so they have decided to foster him longer term saving him being moved onto another foster home. This is one lucky dog and now he has a bright future ahead of him. Introducing Jasper :- Edited January 2, 2010 by lil_angel
