Barbara Holly is lovely and I think her and Tess done a good job at promoting the plus sides to owning an oldie. I had lots of people asking about the Oldies Club bandana and I gave the website details to two people, so fingers crossed. Bouncer, the Springer Spaniel, got best in show for Scruffts. He belonged to a young girl that recently had a lung transplant and got through in the Childs Best Friend round. I have to say, that category was the most entertaining to watch, particularly when Peter Purves thought it would be a good idea to ask the kids to let the dogs off lead to see what their recall was like He obviously wanted to make sure that the stewards were earning their money! It's always a great feeling to come away with a little rosette or certificate but Barbara is right - we always take the best dog home. Well done Holly for being in it.
