Wendbert Posted May 10, 2009 Report Share Posted May 10, 2009 We had an absolutely brilliant time at the Big Weekend. The weather stayed dry and sunny and there was a really good atmosphere. I took loads of photo's although most were a bit rubbish, but here's some of the better ones The Wombats: They'd just started playing in the main stage so we were quite a way back, but they were fantastic Next up it was The Script, who were also brilliant (we'd got a bit closer by then ) Later it was Kasabian who were also pretty blooming good Closing the night, the utterly brilliant Snow Patrol, my absolute favourite of the day. krusewalker Posted May 14, 2009 Report Share Posted May 14, 2009 i quite like kasabian as they have a contemporary electronic sound dizzee rascal is also fantastic love to see both of them cant take to the crop of indy guitar bands that have taken everything over the last couple years i do feel last year was the worst year in music for years all very safe and dull and 1973....most of today's top guitar bands and female singer songwriters also feature on radio 2! although i prefer radio 2 as they have better DJ's.
