Instead Of Car Cages?

I don't know if what I want exists... I would love to have a wire door on the inside of the car (the back, what do you call it?) with the same function as a cage, ie the dogs can't jump out when the door is opened etc.... does such a thing exist? Sorry for not being very good at describing what I am thinking of  :flowers:

Look on ebay or agility sites etc for second hand ones,i've just got one myself and i'm chuffed to bits with it. There is another site that makes them for your car@£99plus p+p,i'll go and find the site.

Like this Anne, mine is from Barjo too and then I have a dog guard from Saunderson's (you can see the legs of the guard in the picture) which is great because it can be used behind the back seats or behind the front seats when the back seats are down too. When we travel to France we put the dog guard a little further back so that there is enough space in front of the guard and behind the front seats for luggage but the dogs still have a lot more room than if the back seats were up.

I've had two double door tailgate guards on two seperate vehicles. The first rattled a lot and went rusty and wasn't cheap.

My present one came from .........

This is perfect IMO. It's very sturdy, black galvanised, well fitted and reasonable cost (in comparison to others). You can also have a divider fitted which you can remove as and if you need to.

I did travel down to Lincs to have it fitted but you can install it yourself as they will send it out by post. They have to make them to fit different vehicles.

HTH :)

That looks cheap, less than half the price of the Barjo for the car I am looking at :flowers:

Anne - did you get one for your CR-V and do you mind me asking how much you paid? :flowers:

I will be bunging my Barjo one on eBay when I get my new car.

I tried to order one via that site, but when it got to payment stage Paypal said that the account was unable to accept money. I emailed them and was quoted a price of £135 plus £15 delivery, so I emailed them back and asked why it said on their website that all tailgate guards are £99 if they were quoting me £135 - they haven't bothered to respond so I won't be using them

Thanks for the link, I have emailed them about a price for one :flowers:

I have been checking the Barjo site and eBay for a second hand one for my car, cos I am not willing pay over £200 for a tailgate guard so if anyone has a second hand one for a Honda CR-V 04 model then I would be interested :flowers:
