ranirottie Posted February 20, 2009 Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 I have just had a phone call from a distraught lady to tell me that Poppy was pts earlier today. She was told that Poppy had to lose weight to be able to have the op to remove a very large lump from her side. The ex owners had said that they had a biopsy done and it was just a fatty lump but when Poppy was opened up they found it was a tumour and had spread widely. It was decided to not bring her out of her anaesthetic. Her owner is heartbroken. She will however get another Oldie dog a bit later.
