JACKYSIAN Posted June 16, 2008 Report Share Posted June 16, 2008 It was a huge shock this morning to go on my usual morning walk with the Rabble and find that 'Fella' (I didn't know his name but he was such a friend fella it's what I called him) was laying dead on the road. It appears some lovely person has hit him with their cat and left him on the side of the road. Fella was a beautiful ginger tom and every morning would potter over to say hello, he was never scared of the dogs and they greeted him like an old friend. I couldn't stop crying after seeing him, I tried to make him comfortable and moved him to the grass verge, luckily I saw someone and they knew who he belonged to so hopefully he's now at peace back at home. Poor cat Jackie, there has been a lovely kitten very young killed on the road here last Saturday I think that there are a lot of farm kittens out and about at the moment.
