lil_angel
Hi all me again Am now starting level 3 of my grooming course and Im looking for dogs whcih have their coat kept short by clipping. Only rules we have been issued from college are no Standard poodles, no dogs know to be aggressive whilst being groomed and no dogs over the age of 10. If anyone has a dog I could borrow I would be v grateful. I attend college on a Wednesday evening near Bridgend, South Wales.

phoebejo
Have you tried advertising locally? Maybe put an ad in the local paper or newsagents?
lil_angel
Ive put an ad on the intranet in work but might go and put a few signs on the noticeboards as well. Ive also asked a couple of local rescues if they have anything in that could do with a haircut.
JACKYSIAN
No Poodles???????? What about poodle crosses??????? Think I'm abit too far unfortunately cos Sidney is definatley due a shave and I'm sure he'd prefer a proper cut instead of my usual massacre!!! Rachel Rumpelstiltskin
Hello, get in touch with fourpaws, FOAS, Hope rescue etc etc etc as there are always dogs that need doing. Fourpaws brought in a spaniel X with mats the size of a fist the other day.

I know there is def a small spaniel x which kirsty attacked with scissors and now needs a clip to rectify the awful hair cut!

lazydaisy
My mum has a cavalier which is clipped. I could ask her for you (although she is the special baby). When do you need a dog? I have a cavalier which has never been clipped. I would'nt mind her having the long feathery bits trimmed a bit, but not clipped. ps my mum lives in Fairwater and I live in Barry. lil_angel
Im now taking the Four Paws Spaniel x tomorrow but I go weekly to college and will need dogs over next 5-6 weeks. I can understand some people their dogs are their babies and they would rather they go to their regular groomer that let a trainee loose on them dont worry I wouldnt be offended if she said no.
