rainedrop
[/img] This is Tuppence, this was taken by K9 on the day he arrived here. I am sure lots of you remember him as you helped to transport him from Wales to Norfolk and them to Bedford. He is a dream.
buddyboy
Whoops Incapuppy - as Staffymad says don't assume the oldies are sedate! Bud was with me ages 10 to nearly 14....... don't think he was ever a charging around dog (unless there was food involved) but if you wanted company on a long walk (including a 10 mile sponsored walk) he was your man. Alice was with me ages appx 8 to 10. Who was the one who would hurtle off after rabbits and cats, play for ages with her toys, come on long walks???? Toastie was minimum 10 and probably a few years more than that when he came to me last Christmas. He has a hunched back, cataracts, a heart murmur and guess who has to be put on the lead if anyone is playing ball games in the rec, or he runs over to join in. We do at least 1 hour long walk a week. He lives with an 8 year old greyhound (no, she isn't one of the quiet sedate ones!) and a lunatic hyperactive 1 year old boxer/pointer cross..... who is only boingy when he is extremely tired - the rest of the time he is flying. doggielover
Can totally agree with that, the first time I let Archie off to stretch his legs in the park (full stretch if you know anything about Lurchers!) Someone asked how old the new puppy was - I said 10 1/2............ years!
