Right, a lot of stuff has been going on behind the scenes with Brian...

Turns out he had the chance of a forever home in Wales with a semi retired couple and their

other grey. So, Emma of course, said that chance was totally worth taking.

And, as of this afternoons news, Brian is going to a forever home. :bigsmiley: :bigsmiley: :bigsmiley:

  • 6 months later...

Carol, from the kennels in Portsmouth, has just contacted me to say that she's got Brian back in her kennels again, as of today. He's been in other kennels for around 4-6 weeks, and although he did have a lovely permanent foster home, the lady has sadly been diagnosed as being terminally ill and has now gone to a hospice :(

Brian has put weight on and is in much better condition but he is still stiff on his legs. He enjoys his walks too. He's cat, dog and small-furry friendly. He just needs a bed in someone's house - foster or permanent. After all this time not being loved in a home, he's now experienced how life should be, but is back in kennels. He's simply too old and stiff to be there, despite Carol doing her best for him.

If anyone is able to offer the lovely old boy a comfy bed, please get in touch. Carol's details are available on the OC rehoming thread in the first post. There must be someone who will show Brian the love he deserves
