  2. My neighbours handsome old Bassett left for the bridge today.... Sprogg i will miss seeing you in the garden in the mornings and the special cuddles you gave. You are loved by so many and your bravery touched us all. watch over your Mum, her heart is breaking... Run pain free and young again at the bridge old man. x x x
  3. Aaw thats such a shame...he is such a lovely lad too. If i could drive i would be down for him in a second
  4. What a handsome lad...he has such gentle eyes. Im sure he wont wait long for a home of his own. I do miss having a foster in when i see the pics of all these lovely dogs...just wish i lived further south so i could do more to help
  5. Gorgeous girlie....i love her markings.
  6. Gorgeous....Any info on how he is with young, dog savvy children Fiona?
  7. They look lovely together She seems to be settling in just fine
  8. What a gorgeous little man....its a shame he is so far away he would have made the perfect "Oldie" for my parents. They lost their elderly Lhasa 2 years ago and still miss having him around the place. Someone is going to be very lucky
  9. Poor wee man...at least he is in the right home to get all the fuss and TLC he deserves
  10. He saw it last night, in fact he struggled to get his head through the door this morning Thank you for doing that, it really made his day I added a photo to his sponsor form with a photo to prove he'd done it and everyone who sponsored him got a thank you note and an Oldies Club leaflet.
  11. No not at all, in fact im sure Ryan would be thrilled...
  12. A big thank you from Ryan...
  13. Just send it straight to the OC Amy and thanks again. Wow...thank you...that just got a cheer this end from Ryan It might have got a "woof" from Gem as well but she is zonked after her deer and squirrell patrol
  14. Well he did it , but no amount of wishing for good weather stopped us from having a heavy snow fall this week, which luckily did stay off today... With the £5 each pledged on this thread from Amy and Fiona (thanks ladies ) he has managed to raise £104...which will be posted to OC as soon as the money is all collected along with the forms He is thrilled with the money he raised and i think he has every right to be. Just a couple of pics of Ryan on the walk itself and i couldnt resist one of Gem showing exactly why she is a "Springer"
  15. We have both just seen it..and he was very surprised Ryan says thank you... We are ok for sponsor forms, Debbie e-mailed a copy to me, thanks
  16. Can everyone keep fingers and paws crossed for dry (ish) weather on Saturday. My 13 year old son is doing a sponsored walk for the OC through the local woods The plan is for him to walk the 3 woodland trails and it will take him around 3 hours in total and he is really looking forward to it. As we dont have a big family (and i wont let him go round doors collecting sponsorship) this was never going to raise a fortune, but as it was all his own idea i wanted to encourage him....he was hoping to raise about £50 in whiskey's memory but its looking like it will be around the £70 mark and he is chuffed to bits... So can you join one very proud Mum in praying that the blizzards are over so he does not return looking like a snowman
  17. She is a little cutie and looks like shes making herself at home Well done Todd for letting her share.
  18. That is one transport run i DEFINATELY would have failed on......i think i should start bribing transporters to detour through Scotland You are one Gorgeous boy Scooby and you will feel so much better when all the uncomfortable mats come out of your coat.
  19. absolutely thrilled that this is the missing lad.....great news !! Well done everyone
  20. Thats the one i saw....fingers and paws are crossed that this turns out to be him...
  21. Is there any further news on this lad...i think i may have seen on another forum that a dog matching his description had been found.....i really do hope it turns out to be this boy and he is safe and well.
  22. Poor old girl.... At her age and condition surely they could be a bit more vigilant if they know she is prone to "wandering Off"...once could be deemed a mistake but for it to happen again is just sheer lack of care She surely deserves so much better, thank god you found her Fiona.
