BillyMalc
Yesterday we had an appointment with Kimbas Mum, who is also (besides being mum to Kimba, Maddie and Jasper) a McTimony practicioner, for her to have a look at Malcolm's back hand. Despite earlier diagnoses that he had arthritis, she found within 5 seconds that my poor Mal actually had a really sore back! Thinking of how long Mal seemed to have been struggling with an ever weaker getting back hand, he must have been in pain for years! And all the while I was thinking, and had this confirmed by vets, that it was his age catching up with him Anyway, Kimbas Mum set out to work, and it wasn't long before Mal was in a relaxed snooze, lapping up all the attention and realigning of his spine and what have ya. At the end she told me that Mal might be a bit stiff now and could do with a few short walks rather than a longer one. He must still have been asleep when she said that, because almost immediately the change in his gait was visible, he climbed into the car without help and in the evening he jumped on the bed all by himself, without giving it a seconds thought! What's more, this evening Kiera and Sophie were racing for a ball and Kiera, being her usual clumsy self, ran into Mal. Now a few days ago he would have peeped and wobbled, maybe even fallen over, but today he just gave a look of utter disdain and carried on minding his own business! THANK YOU Kimbas Mum!! You made Mal a very happy man and me a very relieved "mum"!!! :flowers:
Wendbert
Aww, that's excellent Bumpy saw a McTimony practicioner a couple of years ago after he starting limping and being stiff around his back end and it really made a difference after his spine was realigned

Houndwoman
That's great to hear We use a chiroprator on our various animals, mainly our dogs. As we have so many oldies from time to time they need a little help and it does wonders for them. It's amazing to see how they benefit from it. Fiona711
Brilliant news Billy , i am glad Kimba's mum could help Storm saw a McTimoney chiropractor a few times and the difference in him was amazing too , it was facinating to watch Sian work on Storm and the results were well worth it . The route of alternative therapies / treatments is well worth going down , i just knew there was something bothering Storm but even after exams and blood tests at the vet all came back clear he was given a clean bill of health , its good to remember that vets although they can be wonderful are more or less like our GP's not specialists in any one thing .
