tegk68
deefor (D for Dog very clever. Quite like that I voted for Domino, which I think is rather nice, but I would also like to suggest Doppit. With the surname, Gerroff. Doppit Gerroff. Just the name for a 10 month old lab... Highly appropriate Nigger was a black Labrador Retriever who belonged to the World War II Dam Buster Squadron Leader Guy Gibson who gave his dog's name as the codename to be used as the indication that the mission had been successful. The dog was sadly run over immediately prior to the raid and was killed. Guy Gibson ordered that the dog should be buried at midnight, the time that the raid was taking place. Damka (Russian for Little Lady apparently) Damka and Krasavka launched December 22, 1960 and the two dogs survived an unplanned suborbital flight edited because I just realised they must have forgotten Deputy Dawg!!! No, no and no! but thank you . Lovely stories though. I once had a dog called Dinky Doo........is that name any good ????? Very sweet but I think Wendy may have a point...dinky and labrador go together just about as well as jelly and peanut butter in a sandwich , in my opinion. Even if he were dinky, I suspect given my current record he will end up the size of a donkey before too long The boy's name Dooley \do(o)-ley\ is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "dark hero". The boy's name Dave: Dave the earthworm That bloke Dave down the pub Dave on the bins Dave's chippy A mop called Dave and DAVE THE DOG I rest my case

Ruthi (borrowadog)
My childhood dog was called Doobi - hebrew for Teddy Bear, two of her puppies were called Doobale (pronounced doo bul(as in but) eh, and Dubonnet - but that one might be too girlie. I rather like Dave, but you could never take the dog into a pub. Dooley is nice. Dai? Ruth
