Just saw this little dog myself this morning and my heart skipped a beat. Still cry every day over the one that we lost almost three years ago. Don't know how such a little dog can leave such a huge gap. I think you should give it a try and I am sure Snoopy would like a little dachsie friend to keep him company when you take the others out. Where better for this littte dog than with another dachsie to cuddle with and real dogs , your shepherds, as well. Only small thing about a dachshund is the size of its body!

So nice to see a little dachshund with shepherd buddies. We had a little black and tan dachshund (sadly now at the bridge) and his bestest friend in all the world was Zac, next door's shepherd. He would cry like a baby till I lifted him up so they could kiss. Only down side was he thought that every shepherd he saw was was going to be Zac and he would go flying up to greet every one we met. I didn't know it for some time, as our neighbours moved house, but they died within weeks of each other. I hope they are together now cuddled up.

We will be going to our caravan in west Wales along with our four dogs. Hope we have better weather than we've had for the past two summers. Used to enjoy going abroad for some winter sun, but just hate the thought of leaving my babies.

I've had one and asked to be sedated. The last I remember was laughing with the nurses as they had been on a girls shopping trip to New York. Next thing I knew I woke up in a bed! I was advised if at all doubtful, to go for the asleep option.
