  1. Brilliant News ........Have a wonderul life Jack
  2. I was just thinking the same. Started reading this morning, have just come home expecting to see a good debate, and.......... nuffin Methinks you've all been 'had'?
  3. White cat reminds me of Arthur Negus?
  4. I have asked the question 'why' ? But, if you have 7 minutes to spare, it's brilliant! Am loving 'Charlie bit my finger'
  5. Will be thinking of you all, and hope for the best possible outcome for everyone.
  6. I guess it's a reasonable idea in theory? It's just that we don't have three hundred million people in the UK (the thought of it) The cheapest petrol around here is provided by Esso. How reasonable is it to expect 69p a litre? Sorry, don't want to p*** on anyone's party, and I agree that petrol is overpriced, but just not so sure that there won't be reprocussions (loss of jobs etc.)?
  7. There's the boating lakes in Regents & Hyde parks, and lido's at Tooting Beck, & Brockwell. I *think* there's one at Hampstead Heath too? Greenwich is a good day out too. Are they staying in the centre of London? If not, there will be lots more stuff more local to wherever they are (give us a clue). Also, if thery're staying a while, there's loads more stuff on the outskirts of London which is well worth a visit
  8. Definately the cheapest Changing of the guard, swapping the keys thingy (Tower of London). Picnic's in the parks ... ( St. James is lovely and 6yr old might appreciate feeding the ducks and Pelicans), and it's on the doorstep of Buckingham Palace. St Catherine's Dock (travel on the Docklands Light Railway is free for kids)
  9. Which will seem at least 10 weeks I always wish they would just cut the lumpy bits off at the start and be done with it, instead of faffing about with little diddy, biopsy bits. Hope the results are back sooner.......just keep eating your dinner Foo dog
  10. Lots of good 'keeping upright' wishes on their way
  11. Well, I think that's a really poor excuse (when you're trying to 'snipe' an item)
  12. Gwyn (aka in the real world as Kaos, Penguin (sorry sir, but it was my nickname before it was yours) .......and (also rarely) if you're my aunt, or really want a slap, Gwyneth)
  13. Rusty What a lovely lad he seems! These situations are always difficult Di, particularly when you have to leave one behind. Because it comes 'naturally' to us (being the kind of people who frequent these forums), we think that everyone should have some kind of basic, inbuilt knowledge / common sense regarding pet care. I'm sure Rusty's last home meant no harm whatsoever, in fact they loved him dearly. They just have little idea of what it takes to provide basic care. Take heart from the fact that they are 'trying' to do the right thing by the dogs now, and they can be worked on to let Sandy go too. I'm more angry that two seperate breeders would home pups to people who had major family commitments, had never had a dog before, obviously hadn't a clue about what was involved caring for any pet, let alone two 9 - 11 weeks old pups ( something I wouldn't recommend for anyone), and whose coat I would find a challenge! Guess it all comes back to Education, Education, Education ?!!
  14. Special 'have a really grumpy weekend' to Foodog Loads of good thoughts and to you all.
