  1. I sent an e-mail tonight to Many tears about an 8mt old cav puppy (the one which had a leg amputated) How long do you think I will have to wait for a reply (patience is not one of my virtues!!)
  2. Try the interactive thingy - I watched all the gundog part on this yesterday.
  3. Luckily I have an outside tap and hose pipe. My lab just stands there wagging his tail as I hose him down!!
  4. OMG she is so thin. I hope she puts on lots of weight soon and is happy.
  5. I did a very short street walk to collect son from school. The combination of rain, wind and the vvv cold put me off!!!! What can I get to waterproof the space between knee lenght wellies and my jacket which stops about 6 inches above my knees???? I fetl very guilty because my dog (lab) is not bothered by the weather
  6. I am vegeitarian and my lab loves chunkes of cucumber, raw broccli, carrots, mushrooms, apple, pears and cheese
  7. There are some very sad people in the world
  8. I too have been a victim to a lab wearing a lampshade - it hurts Glad it off now and everything is ok
  9. My male golden lab loves all dogs! even very bouncy puppies. But the only dog ihe does not like is a female black lab puppy
  10. My favourite breed is a lab. As a child we had, first a golden lab x, then a pedigree golden lab, then a black lab x. All were brilliant dogs. To me labs are the most loyal and faithfull dogs (obbviously overlooking the bin raiding which goes on every day!) I have an golden lab now who found me and I love him. Dont know why but I love Rotties, and one day I will have one. My ideal one is a long-haired/flully one with a tail. One day he/she will arrive, plus a lab as well

    Amazing

What an amazing change between puppy and grown up picture. He is beautiful
  12. IMO the dog should not have been on the beach. You can tell children the rules about approaching strange dogs, but they are not robots and sometimes will act impulsivly as Caitlin did. You cannot watch a child 100% of the time. If the rules had been observed then Caitlin would not have been bitten. Dont blame the child she is only 3!! I would speak to the dog owner and put the onus for reporting the incident to her, see what her conscience tells her to do. If the dog continues to be on the beach who knows what could happen next. The dog owner should certainly pay the medical fees I hope Caitlin recovers quickly physically and mentally.
  13. My OH is ok at shopping, but he tends to get the absolute basics. I usually spend £100 pw but he can do it for about £60, but we would not have anything nice
  14. Help I have bought myself a laptop because I am fed up of my old computer being soooooooooooo slow. The problem is - how to save my info onto discs to then transfer to my new laptop. I need an easy and quick way of doing this, ideally with simple instructions. Also can you save your favourites list and transfer this, what do you do with all your email address. I hope someone can help me.
  15. I think the stickers they mention are the ones I saw in the womens toilet in a forest park near Merthyr. They tell you what a great product a mooncup is and a few facts about it. I could not work out how to use a cap. The nurse looked very unimpressed with me telling her it was more difficult for me, cos she was giving my right handed instructions and I am left handed.
  16. I dont think I have a wireless network, just a router thingy which gets the internet to the computer upstairs. Is this a wireless network?
  17. I have a dell laptop for my job (teacher) and I would like to know how to get the internet on it. We have a computer downstairs which has the internet connection. The upstairs computer had a router thingy which shares the internet thingy downstairs (spot the technical knowhow ) Can I get the intenet on a lap top. If yes, how do I do it?
  18. I would love to know what this means and does it hurt? Walk my dog Cross stitch Referee 2 children
  19. If anyone want to watch a good film I can reccommend the Memoirs of a Geisha. I had this on dvd for my birthday (saw in the pictures) and it is brilliant.
  20. I have tried to find the refuge on google and had pages of info about womens refuges. I have another computer upstairs and cant find it up there
  21. Today was the first day in three weeks that it did not rain. We actually had sun as well. I dragged the family out for a walk - to cries of "not another walk!" but as usual they all enjoyed themselves, especially getting muddy by splashing in the new streams and muddy pools. Harri the lab was so muddy I had to hose him down when we got home, he actually enjoyed it I want the rain to stop!!!!!!!!
  22. I have had an artheoscopy about 17 years ago, and I didnt have stitches! It was painful enough without being cut up. Hope you feel better soon Thats just what I thought!
