I'm not sure if its controversial, as you may all agree... probably not but I really hate the new Talk to Frank ad where they use the toy dog to illustrate drugs being brought into the country in his stomach, then him being cut open in a basement to get them out
So I went online and have complained to the ASA. They have responded very quickly and told me they have referred my complaint to theindependent ASA council for their consideration - Im not sure what this means, as only just opened the letter and not researched it, but just thought I would let you know if you were thinking of doing the same.
Other than the toy dog, its a good ad, David Mitchell as the voice over, and funny... but its not acceptable, or necessary, so I complained (I did point out that using David Mitchell was cool too, just so they saw I was balanced!)
