  14. Just a little update on Whiskey now that he has been here a few days, no new pics though, my camera is playing up a bit. He really is a lovely natured boy, love his walks and is calming down on the lead now with a little training, still pulls a bit when first goes out but everything is just sooooo exciting to him and he cant wait to get round all the different smells.. He can walk for miles and the only one who comes back out of breath is me!! In the house though he is totally at home, loves his naps and pefers to be lying beside someone so he can have his tummy tickled, he has been fine with all the dogs he has met and very loving with everyone... He had an off lead run in a secure woodland walk i go to today and although his recall is not great he will keep you in his sight and run to catch up with you if you walk ahead of him. He loves his ball and will play in the back garden for hours bringing it back and barking for you to throw it again Someone really needs to remind him that hes not a puppy I think he is still a bit bewildered at the move and has been off his food in the last couple of days but im keeping an eye on him, he will have his vet visit this week, and although he seems very fit and active he does have a couple of lumps that need checking, but fingers crossed they will prove to be just harmless fatty lumps.. Cant really find any fault with him, he really is a lovely dog and will make a fantastic loving friend for some lucky family

  20. Has this poor girl not been through enough by being dumped at her age without having to be stuck in a kennel when there are lovely people wanting to help her...in a case like this when the pound know she is not going to be claimed surely the rules can be bent.... Hang in there honey, theres lots of people thinking about you and desperately praying your in front of a warm fire very soon.
  21. I think he is gorgeous, cant understand why he has had no interest, sounds like a lovely boy.
  22. Having started this topic im glad to see that common sense seems to prevail on here at least... The lady is in fact a Home economics lecturer, and the description given off her injury in the press was that her knee was "split in two"...so i have no doubt that she must have suffered terrible pain...but it was an accident !!! The owner of the other dog actually left his young 7 year old daughter and his dog with the lady while he went to get help for her...he still maintains the lady slipped and his dog did not run into her... I know that had it been me it happened to i would not even consider suing for any amount...and if im honest i hope she does not win her case because that leaves the door wide open for others to follow...
  23. Aww poor Ned, all that way just to be returned so quickly, he must be so confused. Hope there is a fantastic home just around the corner for this old boy, he sounds just lovely.
