  1. Thank you for all your kind comments. Thanks Michele. Now the weather is getting nicer, hope we can meet up soon for a walk.
  2. Poppy has been with me for nearly 4 months now. When she first came to me, she was very overweight, and could not walk for more than 15 mins without having to lie down, and everything was too exhausting for her. So I put her on a diet, and slowly started to increase the amount of exercise she was getting. We were starting to make progress on this, when after her being here for a month she was diagnosed with Pyometra, so had to go in for an emergency spay. I am pleased to say that she has fully recovered, her weight is down, and she now enjoys her 2 hours of walks, well runs really, she never stops, a day. She will be 11 in July, and I can not believe how active she now is, she tries her very hardest to keep up with my younger three dogs. lol I can not believe how well and quickily she has settled into her new life here, and she gets on well with all the dogs, cats and my son. She is a complete dream to have. Here are so pics of her. Poppy on her first trip to the beach Poppy being chased by Charlie All the dogs at the beach (Poppy nearest)
  3. thank you. She has now been collected and left with her new mummy & daddy. Will miss this girl lots. x
  4. Glad to say that Holly(wood) has now been homechecked, and her new owners are coming to collect her on Monday. Fingers crossed.
  5. that is such a shame sundaygirl, and she is so beautiful and loving, and she is such an easy dog to have in the house and around you. Really hope someone will offer her a home soon, before she comes too settled with me.
  6. Someone was being h/c'd but changed their minds as they decided she was TOO OLD !!!!!
  7. Holly is still looking. Hope this girl finds her new home soon, she really is lovely.
  8. Is there any news this morning ? On Lab Forums, we have quite a few people able to help.
  9. Hi Nat I am more than happy to foster her if needed, and I have spoken to Den and she and Shirley can help with the transport run to me. Let me know Tammy x
  10. I am happy to foster this girl, or take her in until a rescue would find her a space, but I am in Devon, which I assume is too far from you, unless transport could be arranged to Bristol area, then I could collect her from there. Please let me know if I can help. Thanks
  11. thinking of you Molly, keep strong and fit this.
  12. thank you for your lovely comments I really do hope that you are right, and she finds her forever home very soon.
  13. I am currently fostering Holly from Many Tears She is a 7 year old yellow ex-breed labrador. She is the sweetest dog that I know. Seeing what her background is, and that we expect that she has had over 10 litters, she is a complete star. She has only been with me a few days, and already is house-trained and picked up how to walk up steps. She gets on great with children, dogs and cats. She gets on well with living with my three young dogs as well. She walks well on the lead, and does not wander far when off the lead. She comes to you when you call her. She just loves to have cuddles and strokes. If you ignore her, she will come up and start nudging your hand so you stroke her. She is a complete diamond. She has been spayed, wormed, vax & chipped.
