please don't feel sad. fraggle looks a doll. i never heard of gotcha day, until i read your story. i never made a gotcha day either. it doesn't matter if you cry.......................... what matters is that you're hurting, deep. in time you will let the pain go, and then you will remember the happy times of fraggle, until then..............i have no words of wisdom, only warm thoughts for you. i hope you feel ready to look back with a smile........................soon

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I would like to say a huge thank you to the all of those in the OC involved in giving Pete more time. I would also like to send my appreciation to Julie and her family for everything they did for Pete during his time spent with them. I know he was very much loved and it was hard for Julie to let him go. My thoughts are with you Julie. I would also like to say an enormous thanks to my family, without their love and support I would never have got to know Pete. To my dog Libby for loving him and playing with him, for sharing all that she has. I never expected he would leave us so soon, I wasn't ready. But then are any of us really? I'm glad he ran free in the morning, whilst the sun shone and I'm comforted that he didn't go alone. Pete died as he lived.........................calmly and unafraid. Thank you all, for everything, for Pete xxxxxxxx

they do come in red and white, all humans are colour blind. only dogs can see in colour. did you know that humans dream in black and white? they often 'chase' when sleeping. my question is............................................... why do horses wear shoes, humans wear shops. cats have cat-flats-flops and dogs???? we don't have anything............................................unless it's socks, but they are built in

because they couldnt reach the taps in the basin when a dog chases it's tail, does it always go anti clockwise

remind me again .the merle diet? is that the one with the bran? coz libz HATES veggies. ta

well now, i think it's a very sad story and one that could have been so easily avioded. there is no doubt in my mind that the owner is wrong........... he was warned............. he kept his lab on a lead, but liked to let his husky run free? however, in saying that, i do feel the farmer could have maimed the dog or fired a warning shot above it rather than kill it dead. animals need us to protect them, the farmer was protecting his livestock, the owner failed to protect his dog. a very sad story.

no no no yew got that fat gean yew no? i got that tew. i got a bit of lab in me, makes yew huge. i try running round wiv my buddy here, but he's a bit owld and gives up..hehehe but no, yew really aint fat. i fink its the camera, yew got that wide abgle lens on aint yew? we ALL look fat in that. mwah x

i don't know who sang it but................. you are my sunshine, my only sunshine..etc etc etc and these "miss you nights", by cliff richard. but to be honest, sometimes when a pet dies, there is no song in our hearts for a while. unless you love an animal, you don't understand the grief of losing one. so many times you hear " oh it was just their dog / cat/ rabbit / hamster" but the unconditional love we recieve from them is priceless. i been blessed

i'm very sorry to hear this. but be reminded that jack passed over to the rainbow bridge, surrounded by love. well done to the fosterers who had the joy of jack. my thoughts are with you today

hi everyone thanks for all yur tips on how to get a pic on here. i think i understand how to do it. at the moment i have all my pics stored on my comp, but i need to upload them to a website then i will be able to do it. julie did a fantstic job with pete. he really is the most obliging gent. well done julie, no doubt you miss him he loves the park, and gets very excited in the garden when we play ball with him. he sleeps upstairs near my son, but has worked out that if he sleeps on the landing, whoever is up first will have to go via him. what he doesn't realise is, that as he can't hear a THING it's easy to step over him whilst he snores. however, i don't. i wake him. and take him down with me. pete really is a good example of what the OC achieves. i will get some pics on here asap

what about 'the official secrets act' i'm still covered by mine, and i haven't been in service for a few years. i believe they should tell their side of things, but not for several years, when no harm can be done to fellow countrymen/women who could possibly be found in the same situation. you have to rememeber, these people chose this line of work, and knew the risks they were taking. there are MANY people, that get taken as hostages, here and abroad, that don't feel the 'need' to tell the world. i fear that the great 'stiff british upper lip ' is a thing of the past, and we are fast becoming an emotional culture, that needs to show our feelings publically. for myself.............................. i prefer my enemy, not to know what i'm thinking, or how afraid i might be

hiya everyone we have our new foster dog, he's soooooooooo lovely. he's as deaf as a post, but today he played ball with us. he's had a LOT of health problems, and has fought a hard battle. i would love to put a pic on here of him, but i can't work out what i do? i can make the pic small enough, but what do i click on to add his pic? please

hey everybody commandment 10 is so true. did you make the commandments up yourself? or did you 'find' them? i am about to foster a dog long term for the OC. he's got some health issues. i'm nervous but also excited. i shall make sure, i never let him down
