Murphy loves to sit with me on the settee but some times he just gets up and lies in the kitchen on his own i thought it was because the floor is cooler as he doesn't like being hot but my OH calls him unsociable at times I like to be on my own sometimes so why doesn't he?? He always sleeps in his bed by the side of me at night though

This has made me it is so very sad RIP little man and have fun at The Bridge where you can run free It must have been heartbreaking for you

Here are a couple of mine Murphy with his pal Paddy and one of him with his Dad oops the middle one is a bit blurred but if i remember right they got black that day and i was laughing so much i was shaking

When i lost Bandit who had been my soul mate for 13 years i felt so unhappy to say the very least and the house was empty and so so not a home but i couldn't as i thought replace him then 5 months later i saw Murphy who needed a home on dog pages that was it i was in love again and new i had to have him in my life not to replace Bandit but to share my love and he came to us and turned the house back into a home again it took me 5 months to know that the time was right but friends of ours whos oldie went not long before Bandit were ready after a couple of weeks ,everyone is diferant and the time it takes them but you can love more than one dog and it takes nothing away from the one you have lost The pain is no less because you have another dog it shows that your heart is big enough to hold more than one I still miss Bandit after 3 years and think of him lots but Murph has made me happy again i like to think i have made Murph happy too

I agree with what has been said before i love fun shows and the ones for crossbreeds and the have a go agility also when there are stalls selling things for any dog rescue !!!!! And how far will we go well we travelled from Manchester to Bedfordshire (i think it was ) for the RDR show this year mind you we did stay thenight at a relatives house

These are all lovely sadly Murphy doesn't kids especially boys for some reason he is terrified of them so he always gives them a wide berth when we are out

This is a view of the bottom lake from up the hill where the second lake is i think thats Paddy n the distance

Its the Strinesdale centre in Olham It has a nice walk round the first lake then you can walk into woods but we always head off the beaten path to the top lake where hardly anyone goes and Murph and Pad can swim in peace away from people feeding the ducks as Paddy goes after the bread and totally ignores you then as he is bread obsessed Murphy started swimming when he was very young as he followed Paddy and poor Murph was only little and he had to swim when Pad could walk through the water i was a bit scared at that point but Murph just loved the water i think he was a water diviner in another life
