My daughter moved into her own flat at the weekend and the only downside is that it has storage heaters. Does anyone know what she can use that wont cost a lot? She is all electric. I was told that oil filled heaters were good but hubby, for some unknown reason poo pooh'd the idea

Sooooo any ideas as to what happens if you have the Marina coil fitted. I'm 47 so it's on the horizon. I had mine fitted 12 years ago and haven't had a period since ( the odd bit of spotting on high days and holidays but thats it). It should have come out after 5 years but 'if it aint broke, don't fix it'

I have to say that I admire her. Yes she blotted her copy book at one time and was tried by the media in such an awful way but she made amends and closed that chapter of her life. I think this time it's a case of 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours'. The media gets their story and she gets a heap of money for her boy's. It's just a shame that they constantly refer to her as 'Jade Goody, who is dying from cancer'. So no, I don't find it distasteful at all and if it makes people sit up and talk about Cancer and make us all more aware of Cancer and stops people referring to it as 'the big c' and maybe donate more often into the research of Cancer then well done her.

I agree. There are some dreadfully rude people out there. I work for a mail order company and have to speak to a huge amount of callers during the during the day and I would say that at least 35% of those callers have no manners what so ever. My main bug bear on the phone is when someone doesn't hear what I have said so say's 'what' instead of pardon and also those who you have helped who just put the phone down without saying 'thank you or goodbye'

When we first got Rosie she was 'just a dog'. 7 years later if I am in bed reading and Rosie is on the bed chillin and hubby comes up to go in the bath, I get a peck on the cheek and Rosie gets her neck nuzzled. Nuff said.........

Oh NO WAY. on the 24th Dec I had £1250.00 in my bank account. On 10th Jan I had £125.00 and a million day's until pay day again. I had to borrow from my son's savings account which he doesn't have access to until his 18th in December thank goodness.

We've got heaps and its still falling. The only good thing about it is that it's the only time Mitcham looks nice. I am so worried about driving to work tomorrow
