I am 50 and for the last 7 months have been on HRT, it really has made me normal again. For a couple of years before I was irregular and could blow my stack for no reason at all. Then the night sweats began and the day flushes which would soak me through I felt tired all the time. Had the test to see if I was menopausal and surprise surprise I was, so I went on to HRT and within 3 weeks all symptons had disappeared.

I am making fewer trips in the car. My day off today, car stayed on the drive usually I would have jumped in it and gone shopping to Manchester or such like. I had 3 home visits to do last weekend, normally I would have rung them up and possible made 3 separate visits to fit in with the people but this time I said that I could come on Sunday morning only. It worked and only did half the miles. Food shopping is getting very expensive and I can't even think about next winters heating bills

By the same author, Hosseini, as Kite Runner is 'A thousand splendid suns' I enjoyed this even more than Kite runner. My page turner at the moment is Martina Cole - Ladykiller.
