  1. I'd call them, at the very least you would hope they would have a talk with the owners, i don't think approaching the dog is a very good idea, although i might be inclined to take some photo's of him and keep a record of the times he is out
  2. Loved this i thought Robson looked like an Akita x GSD, i don't think they said what he was, he'd be the one i'd take home, tho' Cookie was lovely, but three Staffs in the house dosn't bare thinking about Great to see Kay Lawrence, very lovely lady
  3. Interesting thread I would have to nominate By The Way - RHCP Rain Dogs- Tom Waits Yours Truly Angry Mob- Kaiser Chiefs Jesus Egg That Wept- Daniell Dax The Skys Gone Out - Bauhaus I bet nobodys heard of the last two , although Ms Dax is an interior designer now

  6. Oi, watch what you say about the Cliffster, i sent him a letter when i was two asking if he would marry me he still hasn't replied 38 yrs later, ba***rd I can't stick him now, honest
  7. Do Robinsons jam still have a gollie on their jars ? if so i think the reaction to the dolls is a bit ott
  8. Oh wow !!! Noggin the Nog !!!, i loved Noggin the Nog........"this is the saga of Noggin the Nog" why can't they make kids proggs like that any more Louie my first dog was named after the song" Louie Louie" Celeste was from a book called Ritual, about a group of people called the Celestines who ate people but i thought it was a beautiful name Spud was after a very old wee dog that wandered about the park and tried to hump everything in sight I just liked the name Daisy, and it just suits her
  9. I had a Gollie doll when i was wee, and i never once thought it was supposed to be a black person, but then i never knew there was such a thing as Catholics and Protestants till i was 12 i may be a bit fick
  10. I have this problem with both mine, they are on JWB, i have used bone meal once a week which has improved matters, i tried the bran but it didn't do anything, luckily my friend is very experienced at butt squeezing so we trot round to her when they need doing
  11. I've been to a couple of her seminars and thought she was very good, very hands off approach, she has a brilliant way of moving her body to influance the dogs position, she's a well built lass but she was very gracefull in her movements
  12. You probably don't remember, you were to busy kissing boys She used to keep her lips closed and press her mouth onto your lips, if she got really into it she would sook your nose
  13. Bit behind the times on this one, but i never really look in here, but now i have i will pay more attention, always on the look out for fun training ideas, anyway, i read an article that said "some" dogs can become "depressed" if NILIF is used excesivly, just thought it might be of interest
  14. clicking the ctrl button worked, how do you guys know so much?
  15. Cheers m'dears knew someone would know
  16. Poor Terri is feeling like this at the moment, she was trying to be very brave and watch Crufts but when she turned the channel the first dog she saw was a Sheltie she got very upset I didn't feel like this when Celeste died but i did have another red Staff, Spud, in the house so that probably made a diffrence, when Louie went if i saw a white GSD i would gaze at it for ages (and still do) and remember when he was young and full of life
  17. Does anyone remember the Holly Trust ? they did this years ago, it was a data base for doners, Louie was on the list and gave blood once, we got a whole case of dog food from the vet as a thank you
  18. I've never met little Kinkers in the flesh yet but i luvs him already, hopefully i will get Boston snogs when he comes home in a few years, so Kirsty you need to start teaching him to kiss like Celli used to
  19. Anybody know why my daft comp keeps blocking the smilies on my posts? when i click on the, show all, bit, it says a pop up was blocked
  20. Ooooooooh, he was waaaayy better than Ben, he's just an ickle pocket sexy beast
  21. It is only available in the U S, i'd love to try it, lucky Kirsty's local pet shop stocks it, jammy little git (she lives in Philly)
  22. Talking about Ben Fogle, has anyone else noticed the startling similarity between Ben and Beaker from the muppets? thats him on the left they even talk the same
  23. Know nowt about showing either but to me the Tibetan (although not a dog i would personnaly want) had the X factor, he just seemed to move with that extra bit of chutzpa, i would have liked to see the Malamute win but he was a bit dull. Why aren't dogs allowed to move as nature intended in the ring? i know it shows of their gait to get them to trot but a lot of the dogs were strung up when you could clearly see that they should be (i don't quite know how to word it)sort of going forward more, more of a head down, level with their back, would holding them up like that not affect the way their shoulders move ? and it really hacks me off when you see wee dogs being lifted by their head and tail
