  16. ive just been out with our local rspca to try to catch a border collie that has been sleeping in bushes in someones garden in bolton. There have been several attempts by the dog warden to catch him without luck however he is now using a vari kennel that the rspca took up to sleep in and is being fed now by only the house where the kennel is rather than half the street. Our local rspca branch only have a fox trap which is too small Does anyone know of any rescues/people in the area or surrounding area who has a dog trap. or do dog lost peeps know of any border collies missing from any surrounding areas, Horwich, belmont rivington type areas he is staying around one street in the area and looks to have been drawn in because of the cold but there are numerous dog walking areas nearby where he could have been lost.or maybe he once lived in the street.hes got a full and heavy coat and has been out more than a week by the looks of it. hes a wiley ol thing and is always one step ahaead but hopefully now weve reduced the amount of people trying to catch him he may start to come round a little he appears to have a blue collar on but cant get that close at mo and hes not a young dog but is a full bred collie of rather nice breeding. any advice appreciated and stay safe thoughts more than welcome
  17. good post snow and lesley as it certainly doesnt look like this thread is doing any good at all i agree its one of the only active threads and i doubt all the accusations are gonna make anyone particularly new members want to hang around. My reasons for not being around are simple im up to my eyes in cases and trying to sort out hubbys accounts as well as having had the flu from hell i do pop in but theres very few new posts so for my two penny worth posting more elsewhere on the board rather than bickering on this one thread is far more likely to have an affect
  18. i always had olive oil and raspberry vinegar as a child when i had a cough its delicious (shame i didnt think to get some this last couple of weeks while ive been ill )

  20. yes percy is a p. gibbiceps or leopard sailfin and hes been with us a long time now hes at least 12 years old Corydoras are my great love and i have some rare in the uk ones currently i have Sterbai, schwartzi, paleatus or peppered cory (and thirty fry which they spawned in protest at me moving them)True Julii which are rare in the uk but the name is often used to advertise the false Julii or Trilleatus, Narcissus a long nose cory that are huge with go faster stripes and delphax which have a mask and spots and are also rare. I now have my fish room set up and have ten tanks in total and will be adding to my corys soon
  21. could be any of a number of things most goldfish are born dark but not all change colour these are not usually sold on so we rarely see them. water quality can cause them to stay dark too. Goldfish and koi both continually change colour throughout their lives so you may see more of the orange coming through eventually
