Sorry, I would avoid E&L too. My vets have nothing but negative things to say about them. Sadly, they are cheap for a reason.

So sorry Wendy.

Oh no, sending many good thoughts for your lovely lad.

When our greyhound, Daisy died we got another a month later! I did struggle for a while as Daisy was such a well behaved, quiet hound and Caleb was rather unruly at 9 months, but we persevered and now I wouldn't swap him for the world! I don't think getting another dog is replacing the one that died, they are all individuals. Good luck, I am sure you will know when the time is right.

That's really lovely and proves how gentle our wonderful greys are! -
This pretty much sums up my response too.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. Looks amazing, I am very interested if this hasn't been taken. Thanks. x

Any chance of a few more details please?

I can't really add any more than has already been said. I lost my Birman cat Misty yesterday, he died in the night without me there, however I am pleased that he died in his own familiar surroundings and knew he was loved. I am sure that can be said of Daisy. So, so sorry you have lost her.

Aww, absolutely gorgeous

Poppy was 19 months when she came into season alhough I know this can vary a lot. Poppy's bits were very swollen and a very obvious discharge.

Chris Tarrant, The Door To Mis-Use Gsd'S For "Entertainment"?

Even before I read this I decided not to watch this show, reminds me too much of 'I'm a celebrity....' -
I love easter egg chocolate, I think it tastes much better than 'normal' chocolate, especially when it's been in the fridge. I am very greedy with easter eggs I'm afraid.

My Daisy greyhound was a PAT dog.

This happens to my 20 year old daughter. The doctor told her she suffers with Hypoglycaemia, but she isn't diabetic. She has an emergency supply of food for when she feels faint and dizzy. Sugar is a quick fix, but carbs are longer lasting.

Poor Sal, hope the meds and Hills L/D helps. My cat his liver disease due to a tumour and is on menamarin liver support tabs but wasn't too keen on the hills L/D

Patchy is a little sweetheart, I hope the scumbags that did this to him get what they deserve. Well done Laura for the auction!

Never be as good as Life on Mars in my opinion, but I am looking forward to the trip down memory lane!!

I go on about 5 different forums and The Refuge is definitely the slowest and has been for awhile now.

Sad, but I agree

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEL!!

I can understand this. I go to crufts most years, but never watch the showing or judging, I like to go and watch the flyball & agility, particularly the rescue agility. There are a good number of greyhound rescues there which is great and I began supporting Animals Asia after visiting crufts and seeing the most horrific video of cats & dogs in Asia. I usually come home laden with goodies for the dogs too, which is a bonus!

I did read it but wish I hadn't. I will never, ever understand why these cruel bastards can do such a wicked, evil thing as this. They should rot in hell. Poor, poor dog. RIP.
