New car doing very well, much easier to drive than its predecessor so I feel like going further afield once the days are a bit longer. It has a CD player, the old one had a cassette player!2 points

Yes, not an insurmountable problem. Probably an inconvenience now that family have moved on. He is in foster with 3 Goldens. When I lost Cleo I thought I would not have any more dogs due to age but , having had one or more at a time since 1972 it just didn’t seem right without a dog. I have trained and competed in obedience, studied dog behaviour due to having a reactive dog, and dabbled in agility. I have seen many changes for the better in training dogs.2 points

Had a photo of foster dog having cuddles on the couch- he has made himself at home. Poor Brian but he will soon bounce back. Keeping them quiet is usually the problem2 points

used to love fostering, dont miss it helping rescues but look forward to getting a call myself brian is asleep at last with his doughnut on stopping him from chewing his stitches.2 points

Foster dog has moved on. He has made big improvements but I feel I have done all I can with him. He needs a quieter environment to learn it is not a big bad world out there and he needs other dogs for confidence. He has gone to a hime who have two goldens and are well used to labradors. he jumped into thier car without a backward look. Got a text in the evening that introductions had gone well and they were all playing in the garden. So much for an 'aggressive dog' He is not aggressive , he is that dog that wants to say 'hI', and does not know how to cope with the frustration of being prevented by a lead. He is a foster dog but we are hoping he will be a keeper.2 points

Hiya Rick and I had a chat last night, I will be around a bit more as I have just retired, we are thinking of ways we could maybe try and get a bit more stuff going and try and encourage members back and new ones to join. I will be away for a couple of weeks during June but will get my thinking cap on.2 points

Unfortunately, I tried but it didn't come close enough or stay still long enough to get a photograph. I didn't see it today so maybe it was just passing through. If it comes again I will try to get a photograph. I am in Midlothian if that matters.1 point

Well November has stared with torrential rain and the dogs have refused to put their paws over the doorstep so no walks done yet. Hopefully it clears up soon, though they are all crashed out on the sofa, not bothered. Hope it's better where you are. nothing much planned for the month ahead, but hoping to build up my muscles so I can walk better and get some dexterity back in my arms.Hope you are all well.1 point

Lovely autumn day here- sun and bright blue sky. Son came and cut back the bushes that were spilling over my back fence from the scrub land behind me. We filled my brown bin ( council garden clooection) with them. Grandson is due to wash my car today. HE was suppose to do it two weeks ago but the weather has been foul the last two Saturdays. However, his dad paid him, in advance on my behalf ( I pay him to wash it as pocket money). Takeaway night with the family tonight.1 point

Back home from holiday. Need to recover now. We were lucky with the weather. Rain overnight or shower during the day which didn't affect us. Came home to a jungle of grass. It's nice to be back. I thought it had gone for ever. It is quite summery here this week with blue skies and sunshine so I have been pottering in the garden. It is beginning to get some colour in it now. Winter coat and fleece washed today before putting away until next winter.1 point
