Such a hard thing to do its difficult to express the feelings it brings. I was glad we were able to spend time with him today, to see him run to see him do his twirley thing, to watch his play bow and chomp lots of sausages. The two most powerfull feelings are regret and anger, regret that we could not fix him, anger at what it was that caused him to suffer so. The there is a little niggle at the back of the mind, about could we have done something different to help him, then there is sadness in the realisation that what had to be done today needed to be done. He passed today in the best way it was possible, surrounded by people touching and talking to him, he was not alone and I just hope that as he fell asleep he could feel the love in our hearts.

In the midst of his problems and fears there was something amazingly special with this boy, over the time we have known him I have shed tears of despair and felt immense joy and happiness. Now its all just a little numb.

Sweet dreams dear dear Merlin there is a place in my heart forever yours.
