Pendlewitch
If Lorne Spicer says jewllery one more time I will scream!! The antique dealers who say cllectors and news reader saying pleece also are getting on my nerves big style. Did have a laugh when Paul Hayes said crimplene instead of crinoline! Not hard to tell I'm bored and irritable so have taken up my chinese lessons again, has to be better than TV! Gan Bei!
gooster
oh no! I know what you mean - in the gym they have BBC 1 on constant stream on one of the tvs. It's full of antiques progs and property shows. Hope your knee is feeling better soon Edited December 20, 2012 by gooster

cindere528
I hope your knee surgery was successful & you're up & about very soon. One of my pet hates on the television is certain politicians who keep saying "crate" instead of "create" (so they're going to "crate" new jobs - like a puppy I suppose ) I also hate it when people on the news say "vunrable" instead of "vulnerable". It's no wonder a whole generation can't spell when people mispronounce so many words.
Happylittlegreensquirrel
Daytime telly is pretty much the scrag end of broadcasting ! Karen
Hope your knee is getting better. You've made me think about the BBC sports presenter who says afferleets instead of athletes. You would have thought that she would have got it right by the end of the olympics!
