Fee
Mimi has just arrived with us and still needs to be fully assessed and vet checked, but we would welcome early enquiries. Mimi is a tiny 12 year old Terrier X who has quite a tale to tell. She was rescued as a puppy from the pavement in Spain and lived there with her previous owners. They brought her back to England a year ago. Sadly, her owners cannot take care of her any longer and so Mimi had to find a rescue space quickly. She’s now in an Oldies Club foster home in Watford. Mini has her own passport (her coat is described as cinnamon coloured in the passport). Mimi has settled very well and she’s said to be adorable. She has the cutest face that you can’t resist and is quite tiny - about 5 kg! She knows her commands and is quite obedient, but lets you know when she doesn’t like something! Her foster carer tells us: “She’s very lively, intelligent and walks very well on the lead — I have to check she’s still there sometimes as she’s as light as a feather. Having led a sheltered life in a care home for this past year, she is nervous about any new situations (people, dogs etc.) but is okay when she realises that they are not a threat. She knows her basic commands — in English! Mimi also travels well in the car. She loves to be with you and follows you around the house or comes to check up where you are. She can be left for a few hours and is happy sitting in the chair by the window watching the world go by. She’s quiet and only barks when door bell rings. Her new favourite toy is a pair of rolled up old socks which she loves to throw around and chase! She enjoys going for a walk and walks on her back legs with excitement at the prospect! Mimi would make a wonderful, loving companion for a quiet household without children.†Mimi will be vet checked in the next few days. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. She seems to be in excellent health with good eyesight, hearing and agility. ————————————————– If you are interested in Mimi, please refer to our Adoption Procedures for information about the adoption process. You can then contact an Oldies Club rehoming co-ordinator as follows: Email: [email protected] Telephone: 0844 586 8656 Mimi can be rehomed anywhere in the UK, subject to a satisfactory home visit, but note that you will be required to travel to the foster home to meet her.
