BillyMalc
We've had a CRACKING DAY!!! Sparks was a little angel, and Mal and Kiera kept superglued to Corinne (Lizzie), who was kind enough to feed them both enough to last a week (thanks Corinne, that'll save me having to feed them )!! The weather was a bit grim, but nothing really could spoil the sight of so many dogs running and playing about, having such a good time! I did bring my camera, but for once was too busy enjoying the walk and nattering away to take pictures. There were quite a few 'happy snappers' about so I'm eagerly awaiting your pics! This really was a great day, SO nice to finally meet up with loads of people who I seem to have known for ages on here And so sorry for the peeps who couldn't make it, hopefully we'll do this again soon, it definitely was worth the drive! safneo
I have to say that given Neo and Sparks aren't particularly good with other dogs they both behaved impeccably! I am very proud of my boy as I know Billy is of Sparks. I am gutted for Sarah who had a flat tyre on the motorway so didnt make it. We all missed you hun so will have to arrange another so you can come again. Billy, it was lovely to finally meet you. I was determined today! And I finally got to meet HRH Malcolm Lady was carrying her ball as usual for most of the walk until she dropped it for a second on to have a collie pick it up. There was lots of tennis ball chasing again, courtesy of Mike, Clare1976 OH and the 'wanger'. I just can't believe how Lady is soooooooooo happy all the time! Claz, nice to see you again. Anne, I think you should rename Barty, Mr Darcy. He is seriously good looking boy! Edited January 11, 2009 by safneo
reds
I see Lady was still carrying her ball Yes She might have been encircled by a very noisy red bear throughout the walk but yes, she looked after her ball very well. I'm sure her Mum and Dad can say more about her new "friend" Thank you so much to Sarah and Andrea for organising, SO sorry Mrs Chook's day was spoiled - us Fugees will have to think of ways to make it up! Great to see everyone again and what an honour to finally meet Malcolm in the flesh. I genuinely feel very special now Best of luck with the Knee Claire, thank you for coming up Teddy and Rory adopted Neo at the end of the walk, we're just waiting for his Mum to do the paperwork - I've warned them it may take a while..... There were lots of flying pointers - I can honestly say they have even more energy than collies! I am gutted for Sarah who had a flat tyre on the motorway so didnt make it. We all missed you hun so will have to arrange another so you can come again. Ditto Lady was carrying her ball as usual for most of the walk until she dropped it for a second on to have a collie pick it up. Anne Grose
We had such fun. Dear Barty is away in the land of the fairy's now - pushing out the zzzzzzz's. He is so tired and none of his legs work but he had such a ball, he wants to do it again soon. Andrea the photo of Chloe is lovely and it was lovely to meet everyone and there wonderful dogs. Neo was a perfect gentleman and the collie's were wonderful and so was the darling slooki. I had such fun, it was a shame I had to rush off at the end to get back to cook supper for husband who has to depart for work. I hope we can do it all again soon. Jacobean
You all look freezing but I'm so pleased you had such a great time. I really hope to meet you all soon and once I'm working will look out for walks in the area. So sorry you weren't able to make it Sarah. Fantastic pics of scrumptious pooches. It was a good idea to get Gemstone to go. If you go on one of these walks and aren't sure if a group you can see is the one you should be meeting up with a pink person should set matters straight. clare1976
Not telling I see Lady was still carrying her ball Not very often that she is without it!! Thank you to Andrea and Sarah for organising it and it was lovely to meet you all Lady is fast asleep and snoring on the settee. She would like to say a special thank you to her new friend a "certain red bear" by the name of Teddy who escorted her round the park and made sure that whenever the ball slipped from her mouth, he was there to pick it up
dirtychicken
I am gutted for Sarah who had a flat tyre on the motorway so didnt make it. We all missed you hun so will have to arrange another so you can come again. We are so disappointed to have missed it The AA took about an hour to get to us and then the man was cross because the lady on the phone hadn't said that I had a child with me so I'd not been a top priority As it was, when he fitted the spare tyre, there was a deep nick in it so we had to come home via the A38 so that we could drive slower than on the motorway Ah well, life's an adventure It looks like you all had a fabulous time and please can we sort another one out soon???
