I have just heard of two Samoyeds belonging to Veronica Gunston, a dog and a bitch that have been missing since Tuesday. Veronica is

84 years of age and lives in Wadhurst, East Sussex. Does anyone know of Sammy people living nearby who could give Veronica some support.

The dogs are Zeus 10 years who is microchipped. He is wearing a collar with

the Vets T.N. at Battle 01424 772148. The second Sam is a bitch Cliquot who

is 6 years. not microchipped but wearing a similar collar. Veronica thinks

they got out of the garden rather than being stolen.

These two Samoyed went missing from the garden of an active (but elderly) lady's home on Tues PM at around 1830-1900.

The home is quite isolated and in the midst of dense country and farmland.

Local people are aware, by phone, for example, Wadhurst Estate, and the local police, Railtrack at Wadhurst, RSPCA, vets, Kit Wilson Rescue Centre, Samoyed Association etc.

The owner Veronica Gunston, is concerned the dogs may be picked up or are contained in an outhouse or farm-building. There are travellers active nearby which is of concern.

What we need is a team of volunteers to help a) search and b) poster everywhere sensible within a 20 mile radius.

Volunteers could ring Mary Starling on 07742 569 129 to coordinate.

Please try to help if you can this weekend.
