K9Fran
Remember my little lad who fell down a hill and had a ride in an air ambulance on his Year 6 residential trip? The same one who couldn't do his school performance on Monday because he was too upset over a row with his Dad (then the headmaster came knocking on the door to 'try and persaude him' and he stood up to him and told him he didn't want to go) Well he did the 2nd perfomance yesterday, was word perfect, and came home with 2 awards from the Year 6 Leavers presentation - the only child to get 2!! He got the literacy acheivement award by going from level 1 at his end of Key Stage 1 SATS to level 5 at the end of Key Stage 2 SATS, he also brought home the overall academic acheivement award for all subjects, and just missed out on the science award as well, which went to one of his best friends who got 99%! The year as a whole got the best SATS results for any year at this school - his lordship got straight level 5's except for the teacher assesment 'speaking and listening' (too much speaking and not enough listening I suspect) and Maths - both level 4. His school is the highest at 'added value' in our education authority.
