Ciren
i just went to the local morrisons and there was a sign on their notice boards, it was a company calling them selves the moggery. offering cheap neutering for cats. they said it could be done at "your local vets" there was no address website or anything apart from a local telephone number. phoebejo
Sounds fine. Many years ago before the branch of Cats Protection I volunteer for began, there was a lady who fundraised on her own to help pay for neutering of local cats. She just advertised in newsagents windows and vets notice boards. She went on to be one of our founding members and she still helps out now. ClazUK
They've probably got a deal with the Dogs Trust/PDSA. To reduce the amount of cats born (and dogs for that matter) is the only long term way to deal with the huge amounts in rescue needing homes. http://www.themoggeryrehomingcentre.co.uk/

Red Rotties
Warrington Animal Welfare have posters all over the place offering the same for dogs, cats and rabbits, I dont think there are many places that havent been given a poster in our area! I think the clue was the bit where it said it could be done "at your local vets", we certainly don't do our neutering in the back of our van
