I am flying back in 2 weeks so not long now and Iwill try and be squirrely from here and stop moaning about my lurgy

some squirrely things

I am writing an eduction worksheet leaflet thingy here ( about dogs ) and then getting it translated in Sinhala,

I am bringing back a selection of Rani and Laksmai's elephant paintings to sell to raise funds for MEF with first dibs going to fugees

I hopefully will have some work to come back to which is fab after 6 months of being an unemployed

I think Rani Loves me ( or at the very least the biscuits I carry around for her )

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. That's better  Hope you feel better soon though :GroupHug:

My four day weekend will consist of going home this afternoon and vacuuming, dusting, washing up, making dog food, cleaning bathroom, washing down front door which got filthy with spatters from pressure washing the drive - all in anticipation of Wendybert's flying visit to the house of Merle tomorrow morning twirly

At least you got some notice! I'd just put the sweeping brush down when she landed

Fruity Kelly - It was really helpful when I needed to get mine :flowers:

:GroupHug: Natalie - I hope you feel better soon

Am home for lunch. The Finance Director spoke to me this morning and said they have work for me on Monday, possibly Tuesday, and he's spoken to the Admin Manager about me working down in the admin department for a while. They have temps in there anyway, but one goes on holiday next week and they don't think she's going to come back. So I guess I just have to wait and see.

That sounds positive Elaine :flowers:

I shall be sharing noo kitchen photos with you after the weekend

About blinkin' time too :D

Hello, I may just be at home since I decided (on the spur of the moment) to have a half day. I am now going to sit and have a cup of tea in the garden.

I have had coffee in my garden and this will become a more pleasurable experience after tomorrow when I have purchased noo table and chairs and no longer need to perch on the edge of the patio  Hope you've had a nice half day.

:GroupHug: for all at the Owlery

:GroupHug: Sparkley. Hello stranger

We had such a lovely afternoon with the Wendbert family  Wendy brought Bumpy's collection of air kongs to donate to Flora  She (Flo) was suitably thrilled and has scattered them throughout the house and garden. She (Flo) was even more thrilled to find that Sir Henry is such a handsome devil - she is utterly smitten and has spent much time trying to entice him into playing but he's having none of it  Bear enjoyed having visitors too and has had a good day  We all went for a pootle round the park and the fat collie decided to become ASBO dog and legged it to stalk and grumble at every dog in sight :glare: Doodle has been her lovely usual self but Henry............oh what a darling he is  My ruffians are now flat out

hi everyone

have been to doctors and am on another course of antibiotics as i still have the infection in my stomach ..... so see how I get on with these

Can you not get a second opinion? they might be treating the symptoms and not the cause, and antibiotics can irritate the stomach. Hope you feel better soon :flowers:

:GroupHug: :GroupHug: to Billy and Mal.

:GroupHug: for anyone else I've missed out :flowers:

I am very jealous of all the peeps getting out and about today. I have been on a course and had to sit on a chair all day. I had cramp, pins and needles, and kept wanting to snooze

The plus side was we had a delicious Arabic lunch. Yum :D

Afternoon. I'm not telling you what time I got up today. :D

Bracken has had more chicken and rice and touch wood has kept hold of it. He had an accident through the night bless him. He's been again today but without making you all feel ill is getting better. He's brighter in himself and came running over to me. It's strange to see him so quiet. He hasn't barked or made any noise for days. Not even a moan. Martyn has been home keeping an eye on him.

I have to go back to the docs next week as I need an MED4 form to send to the benefits agency. I have a form to fill in to say why I can't work. I've got a doctors appt for next Wed as he needs to do the form while I'm there. Funny how I can get an appt for then when normally I would have to ring up on the day if I was ill and needed treatment. He can give me another sick note while he's at it.

Glad Bear has had a better day today. Hope he has many more bless him

Natalie you sound as though you have a condition that needs treatment rather than antibiotics. Did you see your own gp? Hope you get sorted soon. :GroupHug:

Ouch Di hope you've managed to take something that is giving you some relief :GroupHug:

Billy try and register with another vets. Your old one can send across all the history or even type it up for you. I've been absolutely disgusted by the treatment at our vets and the lack of knowledge. We rely on them so heavily. I'm not sure how soon Malc will be able to go under anaesthetic if he's had kennel cough. It might be worth you speaking to the animal hospital and asking the question. You may be able to speak to the Oncologist. I used to be able to talk to Sheena's specialist. Sending him tons of healing thoughts and big :GroupHug: to you both

Owl pleased little Gilbert is holding on. Sending him tons of healing thoughts too. Can we have a pic of the robos please. Sending masses of thought to PC too. :GroupHug:

Hope you feel tons better very soon Sam and Ange too. :GroupHug:

Pleased you will still be working next week Elaine. With a bit of luck they'll keep hold of you for some time and an opportunity will open up at some point.

Julia would be lovely to see you as you are a very nice lady.

I know I've missed other and I'm sorry so have a :GroupHug:

:mecry: Awww Bumpy and his air kongs, what a lovely idea to give them to Flora  :flowers:

Bumpy loved his AirKongs but seeing as neither Dolly nor Sir Henry play with them, I am sure he would be very happy that Flora is having fun with them now

I've had a lovely afternoon with the Chooks  Sir Henry was being very pathetic and holding up his poorly paw and looking woeful

Haven't had a chance to catch up so :GroupHug: 's for everyone who needs one.

Uh-oh! Wendy's gonna be in trouble

I may have set myself up to be kicked in the teeth (metaphorically of course). The suspense is killing me..... So much so that I think I might go and have a nap.

:GroupHug: Elaine. You ok?

I fink so. I don't know. The temptation to get sh*t faced drunk is rather appealing, and I haven't felt like that for a while (last time I did that, I puked for 14 hours solid. I swear to god I brought up an internal organ). Tis long and complicated - not my internal organ, although intestines could be considered long and complicated......

Urgh.
