Jackthelab
Christine went to see her today in the Pound kennels, she really is not well and has been sick and is not looking the same as she did when this picture was taken, the stress and her age is tkaing its toll. We are fighting for them to release her early and we are hoping we can get her Monday now instead of Tuesday and get her straight to a vet. So please, send lots of those Refure vibes and love to her, coz we are all fighting for her.

Peachy
I hope Chloe is able to see a vet soon. Daft question maybe but won't the pound let her see a vet whilst in their care?

ReikiAnge
Oh no Sending lots of Reiki and will put a request on the Reiki lists for her too. As Kelly said, are the kennels not bound to seek vet attention in such cases?
Ian
Just hang on in there Chloe, help is coming soon Personally I'm appalled both that the owners could treat this poor old girl in this fashion, that the RSPCA would even consider handing her over to the pound in any circumstances let alone when offers of foster homes were being made & they have the cheek to claim in their fundraising appeals that they are ALWAYS there for animals in need As for the pound, they know she isn't going to be claimed so why would they not release this poor old girl to better circumstances earlier? Ian, I understand from Nat that the dog was taken to the pound by the dog warden not the RSPCA and was treated as a stray, hence her having to do her seven days
Jackthelab
The RSPCA didn't get involved in the end, she was taken from the vets by the Leeds Dog Warden and treated as a stray. The Kennels she is in are not the most helpful and we have been given the run around from the start, to the point where the kennel owner got bloody minded and decided to phoh the Dogs Trust to come and get her, even though rescue had already said they woudl take her and have a foster home ready for her. We have asked to get her out earlier but to no avail, apparently rules are rules. So we are hoping that she can hold on until we get her, she is on AB's and painkillers from the vet, we are assuming these are from the vet who handed her in. Keep praying all, because her foster mum is waiting to give her lots of TLC and love for however long she has left.
