EGAR
A guy phoned me yesterday and wanted to know if I would buy his *blue eyed* bitch as he is getting a new puppy this Xmas. I think his ears where ringing and very painful by the time I hung up on him. And look what was tied at my gate today... with a choke chain.. Merry Xmas, Bessie, at least he didn't kill you ... Peachy
Your last comment says it all. Stupid shallow man. She's beautiful.
ReikiAnge
Merry Xmas, Bessie, at least he didn't kill you ... Sounds as though she's going to have a far better Xmas than she would ever have had with that tosser. How can people do that?
EGAR
She is beautiful alright but I am full up and have been turning dogs away left, right and centre. And she's another dog I can only rehome in Ireland as she'd be considered type in the UK. Sigh...
BillyMalc
I'm so relieved to know that Bessie is safe - and probably will be better treated than she ever has been! - but I can understand your worries about being so full up and having limited rehoming options for certain 'guests' What I'm wondering though, is WHAT on earth do you say to such a tosser when you get him on the phone?? I'm afraid I'd only be able to utter a load of abuse, after I'd been stood with my mouth open for at least a minute so that the guy would prolly think I'd hung up on him!
EGAR
I once had a guy on the phone who fired his shotgun to show me how serious he was about shooting his dog if I wouldn't take it.
Peachy
Absolute waste of air, some people If you were down the road from me, and you felt I could help, I would foster over Christmas to help you out.
Alison
she's another dog I can only rehome in Ireland as she'd be considered type in the UK. Sigh... I appreciate that it's unlikely but in case there are other people as ignorant as I, what does "considered type" mean and why can't she be rehomed in the UK? Sorry to be dim. scotslass
Alison, I think it means she might be judged to be a pit bull type, which it's now illegal to import to the UK. Poor girl.
reds
Bessie you've had the best Christmas present. A new puppy??? Doesn't Bessie chew or mess enough anymore then? I call myself a 'Twonk' a great deal but I'll let this man have the Title instead. She's beautiful.

Thank you. I'd take her in the blink of an eye I know that everyone here sees the beauty in all dogs but she really does look special to me. DanishPastry
She is very pretty indeed , if her personality matches her looks she should have a fair chance of finding a wonderful forever home. Sarah, I truly don't know how you do what you do, where you do it. You have my utmost respect!
celeste
Unbelievable that people can do that , but as you say Sarah, at least he didn't kill her, how old do you think she is ?

Cathy
What a lovely dog she's had a lucky escape by the sound of it. How can people sleep at night when they do such heartless things. Really hoping someone will be able to offer her a home.
