Hound Owners Sleep Pattern

Recommended Posts

this was my routine last night.

send dogs out for a wee-stand with torch freezing as Moo doesnt like to wee on her own in the dark.

defrost self-dogs have now headed upstairs

move toys from Moos bed as she cant sleep on the pink squeaky monkey

have discussion with Michael -can i move the brown squeaky monkey that now has half the bed-

moo comes and drinks half my water-change water

Moo comes over to water-knocks glass flying

clean up

get new glass of water

Moo comes over to say good night-sneezes into glass of water-we are all now covered in water and dog snot

clean up

leave glass of water empty

find the only pillow available-prop it dangerously close to side of bed as rest has sleeping saluki

discover little git has also folded duvet so he has most of that as well

put on thermal PJs

slid into bed-and find Mr Fluffy/squeaky cat

remove self from ceiling and Mr fluffy squeaky cat from bed

slid back into bed

sleeping saluki is not sleeping-now dreaming (so we now have him running a marathon and wittering at same time)

gently wake saluki who gets off bed in huff-i snaffle bed

wake up to find i have no pillows 1 corner of a duvet and Michael has managed to get his feet under the duvet and is warming them on my back.

we get up

 I don't have the dogs on the bed but I don't know which is worse as I'm called down every night by Lucas because (at least one of the following, usually two or three, at different times):

His bed is all crumply

His *night night cover* has come off and he's cold

The cat has brought a mouse in and can I come and remove it as it's disturbing him

Harry is having a poo in the bathroom, can I come and clean it up cos the smell is keeping him awake

He (Lucas) needs a poo

He (Lucas) needs a wee

Islay won't let him get in her bed

Harry is in the bed he wants to be in

Neighbours are going to work, can I ask them to be quiet

His bed is all crumply (again)......

I try my best to ignore him but he's so bloody persistent
