K9Fran
I came home on Friday evening to find 12 year old son bathing a 2 inch tear on Missy's chest - he'd come home from school and found a gaping hole in her chest....... Fortunatly it was only superficial (gained we think from a 'handbags' moment with Barney, but he caught his canine tooth in a mat on her chest which I was intending to remove this weekend) Emergency vet said she was lucky not to severe her jugular!! So she's been stiched up and is now sporting an old white school polo shirt to stop her scratching and nibbling at it (and she also has some nasty razor rash too) Bonnie has another mammary mass, and will be having it removed later in the week. She has a low grade heart murmur, but the vet is positive the removal will improve her quality of life.......... So please think of my girlies this week - we're going to be playing musical crates!
