EGAR
I went to another rescue today to collect donations Lizzie had sent over via the transporter . While there I sat in the kitchen and had a natter/coffee/fag. All of a sudden this dog saundered in, sleek, brindle, shiny like polished marble and I went . He came to me, put his head in my lap and fell asleep . I was smitten.... not a bull breed OH NO! He's a Lurcher - I am too embarassed to admit that I was outfoxed by a Lurcher who proudly sat on the passenger seat of Bertha when I drove home . I am officially insane... Meet Brego, the new EGAR hound, 8 months of energy and sleek beauty: The pics don't really do him justice as it was dusk when I arrived back home. Brego is snoring on the couch with Parcival and Nemo. Sigh... I am insane...

EGAR
In the almost ten years since I have founded EGAR, I have been to many rescues, seen many dogs and was never ONCE tempted, not once. And look at me now, I came home with a pointy nosed smarmy Lurcher and want to tickle his tummy all day long. I MUST be losing my marbles.

Sherlock Bones
We'll pretend that he's a very rare pointed bull terrier, Sarah, it's ok. It's still proving that rescue dogs choose us not the other way round, too isn't it!
