Sophie was due to be spayed before her first season, however she threw an early season at five months so had to wait until now. She went into today and the vets just called to say there where a few complications During the spay the vessels kept breaking and Sophie lost alot of blood They managed to stop it but sophie has only just started to come around and they are keeping her in overnight and will re assess her in the morning. As the vessels where so fragile theres a chance they could break again causing further bleeds and untill they are happy she cant come home. She isnt allowed visitors either as she needs to stay v calm They have done a full blood count and its stable at the moment so fingers crossed it stays that way. This is another reason to spay before a first season if at all possible. Please wish her better soon, she could do with a change of luck Edited March 20, 2007 by A.L.L.I.E.
