Kathyw Posted January 5, 2007 Report Share Posted January 5, 2007 Melp my dear, for many many years I have phoned family and friends on their birthday and sang 'Happy Birthday' down the phone - now oh joins in when in the mood. The recipients laugh and say thank you but we know they feel sick and their eardrums have busted. Trust me, this is not pleasant. One child of a friend when asked what he wanted for his birthday said 'Please ask Aunty Kathy not to sing to me anymore, just ask her to say Happy Birthday Tom'. It really is that bad.
