WOW!!! Dumping dogs when emigrating seems to be really common nowadays. Dp people not consider taking their dog with them as really they should be part of the family...surely? I don't get it!

My OH has asked me to ask on here if anyone remembers a documentary on Arena that was about a day in the life of a JRT.They had a camera on his back and just followed him and he said it was really good and he would like to have a copy. It would have been at least 10 years old but probably alot older. He's not sure of the exact title either. Does anyone here remember it?

Totally agree with you. I would have had the Black Retriever or the Bloodhound for a change.The woman with the Retriever was a bit scary though.

This is Bandit,Katie and Skye scrounging food from my Fiance,Jamie with my daughter Emily and on the other side of the table is Bren with my other daughter Vanessa.

Jessie,Jessie We do miss you! Ebbi and Kizzy look lovely...Love the last one of Ebbi....and Taz looks as yummy as ever. The day you 'give up' Rescue will be the day I get signed up as a supermodel,Cher!! I think we need a Casper pic too Liz!!

I would certainly do a South East walk too as I'm in St Albans so I support that too....If we can find a suitable venue.Dunstable Downs is good....and the Chilterns have lots of nice walks.

Oooo...I shall deffo be on the walk.The other 2 at Thetford have been great fun...albeit freezing cold by the time that we sat down to eat. I will mention it to Cher as I'm sure she will want to come.....We'll have to put up with her! ;) It will seem funny without her Jess who went to the bridge recently and Lizs Kline and Cheryl and Mike have lost 2 of their little ones lately too I think......and,like last time,Seb will be in our thoughts too.I see he is still in your Avatar John. Any chance of some pix of him on here.....and Kline Liz?? OMG...I have just noticed that it says 10am!!!! I have a job to make it there for 12!!Are we not meeting at the normal time then or is it that it opens at 10am as I am as likely to be there at 10am as Cher is to say something useful!!

Hello all!Long time no hear! Well...As most of you know I am Kaye and I live in St Albans with my 3 rescue pooches Bandit(Black Lab from Many Tears),Katie(A failed foster Lurcher thanks to Michelle/Jacobean!You've got alot to answer for woman!!) and Skye(A collie X) who I fell in love with after seeing her pic on Drogheda Dog Rescue in Ireland.She is the newest dog despite being 8 years old and she has been with me a year. My Fiance,Jamie,lives with me at Weekends as he works in his native land of Halesowen,West Midlands and I have 3 kids from a previous marriage,a disabled boy of 12 and 2 girls of 9 and 6.The eldest girl also has ADHD so it's great fun at my house!!lol I failed at fostering and now I don't have the room but I do help transport if I'm asked and when time allows.I used to be on the comittee for the DFSG(Duchenne Family Support Group)which is a Charity that supports families who have a child with DMD(Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy)which is what my son has but I can't find the childcare these days since his mobility has worsened,or the time,but I have just conned/talked a mate(Soon to be an ex mate) into running the marathon to raise funds for them. I have met up with Liz(Domjetcas....Why not Ghost Liz??),Cheryl and Mike(Hugapup),Cher(Ranirottie...who I am very good mates with) and some other doggie rescue people on various walks and also with Cindy(Staffymad),Debs(Whitetiger) and Victoria(Cycas)...Hope you are all well!)and others on a camping trip where we almost ended up under water!! Anyway....I am waiting for JazzieJ to sort another walk out so will hopefully get to see some of you again soon and meet some I don't know. Skye,Katie and Bandit!
