Sounds a bit like Jet was. He was torn between going up to people and running away so he did both lol People came in, he would run away into the kitchen, come flying back in barking and repeat Have you thought about crating her when people come into the house? If she cant run away she may not pee in her bed and provided everyone ignores her she may realise nothing bad happens. Move up from there to shutting but not locking the door and see if she stays there. Sounds more like habit than anything else. Not being able to see properly probably dosnt help either.

Does she whine and sort of dance about at a distance and then pee? Does she notice shes peeing ?

I feel a bit (wrongly?) Sorry for her. I think shes ill or at least suffers absolutley no confidence or belief in herself at all. I find it very hard to beleive anyone without a troubled mind would allow a person,particually not the chlds father, to harm them. She tried to treat the wounds which to me shows she thought it was wrong. I think shes very vulerable

Have just taken Nora to a potential new home. We are keeping her but this home sounded perfect and we went to see if it would be better for her than here where she doesnt get as much time as potential new home could offer. Introduced to resident SBT , few grumbles nothing much tho so went for onlead walk then proceded to offlead . Resident dog being better off lead and not being convinced nora wouldnt squash him, kept her onlead(long line under control) , him offlead. Resident dog ok until nora approched owners(slowly showing no signs of anything) at which point he flew at her. Nora legged it (lol) with him hanging off her. Owners faffed about like going "ooo" alot while I grabbed their dog. That really p1sses me off! Its not my dog being a shite why should i be the one to split them up?! Yet it isnt the first bloody time ive had to risk getting bitten cos owners are too stupid/scared of their own dogs. So what bugs you most about other owners?

Noras homecheck has been done. Nice people, perfect house set up, alas resident dog thought she was spawn of satan and tried to eat her. Nora bless her heart just went "oh feck" and tried to leg it and i had to save her by hoisting teeny sbt off the ground Guess she will have to stay then short of another perfect home come thro!

I had a call from our vet today (which scared the hell out of me cos we have no dogs in vets atm!) She has a friend who is looking for another bullbreed and she suggested Nora ....Nora who we had decided(and actually liked the idea) would be with us forever Said friend then rang up and although i tried to fault her she sounds perfect so im out with nora in an hour to see if she likes them and resident pooch Im gutted incase it works out but i know Nora would be better off with someone with more time. Never had a rehome thats sooooo hard. Good thing is they onlly live five mins away so i can visit whenever...could be done for stalking tho

Been giving her anti b's and metacam and it seems to be helping as its slowly reducing. She went to vets today for a definate check and we are going to leave her longer and short of any further probs then should be fine Was going to go and pick her up save her spending the whole day there but the vets have said i should leave her their for the whole day anyway... reason given??... They like her and the receptionists say she can help them with their stuff which has the nurses vote cos that means they can play with her too They are feeding her treats and posh food and i think she may never want to come home again lol

I have on two occasions removed two fo my children from hospital against the wishes of the doctors. In both cases i had to sign them out. In both cases i was right. I understand where the docs are coming from but sometimes imho their training and reputation are more the point than the actual wellbeing of the person menatlly and physically. (no offence to drs, its just the job!)

Had to take her back again yesterday as it was looking sore and not reducing at all. She had another drain in the hopes it would slow up. The vet said some fibrous tissue is also in the area making it harder and cutting of the area as a seperate cyst like thing,causing it to be more uncomfortable and harder to drain. So on friday shes going back in for a proper look at which stage they may decide to make an incision, remove the tissue and leave a small opening for it to drain over time. Poor girl is on antibiotics to try and prevent the fluid becoming infected (following drains) and metacam to try and ease any swelling and is bored out of her mind!
