  1. Congratulations on your new addition Can't wait to see pictures of new hairdo
  2. Where are the posters that can be printed off? Can I put one in Pets at Home? I will ask first of course.
  3. Sorry I did try to edit but I think I ran out of time Just to add that you need to link to VetUK via Wiccaweys main site so that they get the donation. It's in the Links section near the bottom
  4. Ordering via VetUK benefits Wiccaweys
  5. http://www.passplus.org.uk/ I did it and was very pleased I did
  6. Congratulations Another late learner here (31) but passed first time with just one fault - although everyone says I cheated as I learnt in an automatic but as long as I can get from A to B I don't care!
  7. I've had 3 rescue piggies since mid August. We got them from Wood Green Animal Shelter who advised that books by Peter Gurney are very good (we managed to get one out of the library or I would have sent it to you to borrow). My GPs love cucumber, carrots with tops, spinach, parsley and red pepper (red is the best type as it has the most nutrition but wash all the seeds off). Lettuce can give them runny bums so is best avoided. Wood Green recommended Science Selective dry food but I accidently bought Excel Supa Guinea as their second bag which they seem to prefer. We were told to steer clear of Gerty Guinea pig food as the artificial colours can give them cystistis. We use newspaper and a dried grass called Readigrass (it's a horse feed really). Sawdust and wood shavings can make breathing difficult. 8. Thank you I found your post in the accounting thread and it sounds like you are doing very well.
  9. Thanks for the replies. I may PM you in the near future if I decide to do the full AAT, at the moment I am just doing the bookkeeping certificate to see how I go with that
  10. Hi I seem to remember a thread some time ago about working from home where a couple of people said they were bookkeepers. I have just ordered my learning materials to do the AAT Bookkeeping Course and it would be good to get some idea of people's experiences in the field. Many Thanks Hayley
  11. Well done - that is a brilliant pass, especially your Hazard Perception score
  12. Yes, his paperwork states that the dog can be returned if circumstances change but the breeder is also happy for a private rehome too. Here is Casper http://roychamps.piczo.com/?g=49823781&cr=4 I think they have made up their minds to rehome. His wife never really wanted a dog and they have a new baby, he used to take Casper to work with him but now may need to get a new job where he cannot be taken.
  13. My brother is looking to rehome his 15 month old Rottweiler. Hopefully, the breeder will be taking him back, however, my brother feels that he she is dragging her heels a bit and I was looking to get some names and contact details of Rottweiler rescues just in case he needs them. Thanks in advance
  14. I got the TomTom One XL just before Christmas and the only gripe I have is that it doesn't hold its charge so when I use it I have to have it permanently plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Dells are also sold in Tesco now
  16. Hi Sam I'd still like to donate the £10 I pledged to Dogstar. Please can you send me the payment details as I Paypaled in the past but read you were having trouble
  17. I second this, we sailed to the Isle of Wight and back last month courtesy of Clubcard Deals - saved us almost £100. Have also had lots of nice day trips with them. Just to add, Tesco have just reduced the length of service before you get your discount card to 6 months - I had to wait 12 Worth it for the 10% off everything they sell (including all the non food on Tesco Direct)
  18. Thank you very much everyone I have driven locally today - was going to go on my own but it made more sense for OH to come along (some heavy lifting was involved ). It was funny because I got in the car and was waiting for him to join me before I reversed off the drive - then I remembered that I don't legally have to have him accompanying me anymore so I did it on my own. All in all I had a good drive except the bay park which would have cost me my 'pass' if I'd have done it that bad yesterday
  19. I passed my test this morning. I got one driving fault. I am really pleased but also quite scared at having to go it alone now Good luck to everyone else learning
  20. Thank you for your good luck wishes, I am pleased to say that I passed with full marks on the multiple choice part and 58/75 for the hazard perception part (I got a bit distracted during that part as a couple of the clips were filmed in the area that I am learning to drive and was I busy recognising all the shops, signs, etc - I also got disqualified on one clip for clicking too much ) I have now booked my practical test for early June
  21. I am going on holiday today to the Isle of Wight and decided that while I'm there I would sit my theory test - it's booked for Monday morning
  22. They do make a racket when you first put the tumble dryer on but as it gets hot and they heat up, they are quiet.
  23. I used to be one digit different from a John Lewis store, people used to leave messages including account card numbers and all sorts.
