I have one which I run 24/7 in my cellar, just to make sure everything is dry. I've never found the cost a problem. I've also just bought a couple ready for when it gets colder.......son likes the heat, I don't, so I'm going to put one in his bedroom, and one next to Tango's bed (lazy cat)! If you're thinking of buying a new one, don't pay loads extra for one with a timer. If you want it timed just use a plug in one...it works out much cheaper!

I have just endured several hours (sorry Dee) of smellie, poopie snogs. I got my hair pulled, shouted at, he tried his best to pull me round the floor by my fleece (NO chance there) , and generally got loved and licked into submission. So, I give in little fella'.......I declare that you are definately the best Muppet in the whole world! I'm now waiting for his blog to appear so you can share him properly Dee!

I agree, and (although it won't justify the cost to everyone) a lot more is spent on other, far less interesting and positive explosive thingies. Wouldn't it be great if it led to the invention of stuff even half as exciting and useful as the www?! Although I am at the other end of the scale from Geeky, I am strangly quite excited by it all...but not so by the barage of information I've been receiving from son who has just started Physics A - level!
