She'd end up looking like this if you did: Yama had her Elricc collar, her sensible harness and her dogmatic on when we went to the woods on Saturday (collar for holding tags, harness for holding her and head collar for holding her head close when we pass aggressive dogs (or people with food ) and obviously the harness was fitted properly before we started to walk). It is dead handy for that - gives me complete control over her head when needed and is left loose the rest of the time. I have a spare one in small Dane size (size 5L I believe) if that would fit.

We collected some new furniture today for our bedroom and had to move some stuff and empty the old furniture to make room. It currently looks like this: (that all has to be sorted by this evening or I'm not going to bed) The contents of OH's work van are in the study (and piled up in the kitchen too): The old bedroom furniture is on the way to my mothers place and some of the new bedroom furniture is waiting to have the mess sorted into it. Even that's untidy: Do I win?

I've mine bought and I'll be sending them before the end of November, I don't think I could take the stress of waiting to see if they arrived all the way to Christmas Eve again.

Back in the distant past when my parents first got chickens my one was called Tippy and looked like Freya. She was horrid to other people but she loved me. She was a really feisty, clever chicken and I was devastated when she died. The stupid Rhode-Island-Red-poor-excuses-for-intelligent-chickens-that-they-are and I never got on as well as I did with Tippy OMG - Violet only has one leg!

Royal Canin do several million cat foods (and we've tried pretty much all of them), the ones that would be relevant to your friend might be; Light 40 (bog standard light food), Sterilised 37 (light food for neutered indoor cats), Intense Hairball, Indoor 27 (light-ish food for indoor cats) and Indoor Long Hair 35. Pure Feline no 4 Wellness is good for hairballs too. The Horde are currently on a mix of Sterilised 37, Digestive Comfort 38 (stops Mao vomiting it back up) and Pure Feline 4 as Homer does really badly on foods other than RC. We've tried everything available on the market over the last 4 years and I even gave raw feeding a go but it's RC or nothing for Homer. I've heard good things about Orijen too but they don't do a specific light food.

Ooohh, what a coincidence - I've been sniggering at the Bad Baby Names website today. I like these ones - they made me laugh: While I think that parents should have to stop and think before naming their child I don't think legislation is the way to go. Perhaps some sort of family/friends intervention type thing might be in order for some parents though.

Yama Moo has some martingale Elricc collars too and they're strong enough to walk her on. Here's her pink one: I've spent a fortune on dog collars for Yama over the last 3 years and the ones made by Elricc are by far the best I've ever gotten.
