Poor Kim, will keep sending positive thoughts Clare hope you have a good one tonight and not tooo tired in the morning Ohhhh thanks for the diagonal/canter tips unfortunately due to the bloomin snow our lesson on Saturday was cancelled, then when we arrived for our lesson on Sunday (at a different yard) someone had cancelled us in the book so all the horses were turned out and girls were going home So we have a lesson this Sunday to look forward to

Doing trot-canter transitions and very frustrated as I lean forward slightly when asking for canter, I know im doing it and trying very hard to stop This may sound really crazy but im also struggling to get the right diagonal, I know what it should be but even looking down at the shoulder I still dont get it right.....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Anyway another lesson this weekend

Fab news Gooster, hope you will be happy at the new yard and Blue more settled. We're going on a hack on Saturday (all off road up the side of a mountain) which is great as no traffic to worry about. Last time there I was on Colte (5 year old 16.2hh) and if I dared to do sitting trot instead of rising wanted to canter (t'was a hairy sail to the top I can tell you) Must get piccies of these horses I talk about

Im still having lessons, though due to being fully booked cant get into my favourite school regularly so take what I can get there and have been trying other places further afield inbetween times. Lesson yesterday was good, doing trot/canter transitions, trying not to lean forward when asking for canter and relaxing. Biddy is a strong girl who will tank on and I have to learn not to pull her back as she thinks its tug of war game and pulls on anyway. There was some improvement by the end of the lesson.

I love Strictly and have watched it from the start though I dont phone in but it doesnt bother me that much each week who goes. If the BBC really wanted it to be taken as a serious dance competition they would have celebs who would be serious contenders, not like John Sargeant, Paul Daniels or Ann Widdecombe. Its an entertainment programme primarily. But Ann really needs to GO this weekkkkkkkkkk

I have the sticky sunflower stickers on windows which have caught a lot of flies, also have a swatter which I use a lot, ohhh and the sticky things that hang from the ceiling, pesky wee brutes, I HATE THEM

Its a circle made up of 4 horses heads on her left thigh. Going for another hack on Saturday and then another lesson next Saturday.

Love reading all your stories with your horses and im green with envy as i'd love another some day again Anyway over the last couple of months ive been back riding, lovely hacks all off road with beautiful views. Ive ridden two horses, both 16.2, one a branded Belgian Warmblood who was unfortunately heading for the slaughter horse but was bought thankfully, put condition on and is now looking loads better.
