  2. Exactly, the week I gained 2lb showed just how much my attitueds have changed, previously I'd have thought oh sod it and pigged out big time because what's the point but now I see it as just a blip and can be countered fairly easily.
  3. You guys are brilliant and I'm so pleased to be associated with you in my tiny little fashion.I have noticed that more and more people know about OC now - and not just on the internet dog forums Happy 6th Anniversary, may there be many more
  4. merledogs that is absolutely brillinat well done.Agree about not calling it a diet and your tastes do change,I have several boxes of chocolate here as Tombola prizes for OC stalls and can honestly say I haven't been tempted once - wheras in the past I may have just accidentally opened 1 and then replaced it later Anyway I've stayed the same this week but OK with that.

  12. Wow you guys have been working very hard indeed, well done.
  13. With talk of petrol prices set to rocket I'm thinking of buying either of these to get to work as a means to cut back on fuel costs.I can use an ordinary cycle but there is a steep hill both ends and tbh at the end of a what is now a heavy shift (Care Assistant) cycling home is not very attractive plus it means leaving the dogs even longer than I do now which I hate.So anyone have either, not sure which would be the better option. It's about 1 and 3/4 miles to work.
  14. Did very well on Africa and Middle East but had to guess most of the "stans" my knowledge of the old Soviet Union States is woeful.

  16. HWAR are having to change the date so I'm back on for the weekend again.
  17. Did you get mine? Jazz posted elsewhere but so hoping that this can be managed succesfully. Posted a very sweet wee BT needing a home on FaceBook and one of my BT owning "friends" is meeting her tomorrow with a view to rehoming, feeling quite chuffed about this as it's taken a while to get the message across about rescue dogs to many owners.
  18. HWAR dog show has been announced for 26th.I always attend this and want a stall so I won't be able to make this weekend.
  19. I realy must remember not to stick empty boxes under the tables,it does look messy in the pic Amy love the pics of Duncan and Trixie
  20. Back just over an hour ago after a great weekend attending Dog Days at Westonbirt Arboretum which ran Saturday and Sunday,it was a great show although very very wet on Saturday and wet today.Surprisingly still a good turnout and lots of interest in Oldies Club, the dogs and what we do.I stayed in a lovely B&B in Tetbury and had a great time.Amy ran the stall on Saturday which was dire weatherwise,so much mud around.I did today and whilst it was still muddy we did get some sun and also as it was Scruffts regional final there were lots of lovely crossbreeds around - although Trixie was robbed in prettiest bitch Thanks so much Elaine and Ron with smashing Tom,who was a darling {if somewhat vocal at times)and Jean with Cassie and Tag for their assistance, was nice to be able to have a nosy around and also great to have Oldies dogs as well, not managed that at any other stall.Duncan and Trixie had a great time, largely due to the very large number of treats they received at practically every stall we visited Made a fab £129.50 today but of course what's far more important lots of awareness as well.I only took 2 photos of the whole weekend,of the stall. The mud really was something else.
  21. All packed ready to head off to Tetbury and my farm B&B for Dog Days at Westonbirt, weather isn't looking too good though
