    Rick

Rick has almost cracked his toilet training too now. Today he was sitting & giving paws again. They are not a breed that I have had much to do with but it has been a pleasure to have Rick & his brother & sister with us.

    Rick

Rick was one of 3 pups handed into our care. His brother & sister have now gone off to new homes. The bigger of the boys, Rick took a lot longer to come out of his shell, he is still a little wary around dogs larger than him but his confidence is growing every day.Non of these pups appeared to have had any socialisation around other dogs or people before & had never been on a lead. During their time here they have now met other dogs & are learning to play. They all love people & so far have not shown much interest in the cats. They are well behaved in the car. They are learning to play with toys now & love their food. They will need on going help with their toilet training but they are doing well with paper training. They are now fully vac'd, chipped, wormed & frontlined. They will need to be returned to our vet for neutering or proof sent if using your own vet. Rick is enjoying life to the full. He has found a new friend in oldie Ned. This new friendship has given both of them so much confidence. Rick is such a bright boy, very quick to learn. He is almost perfect off lead & wont let you out of his sight. Rick has a slight heart murmur(grade 2) but this should not stop him from leading a full & happy life. Rick is here in south Lincs.
  17. Hello & Welcome We are based in Lincolnshire & are always on the look out for helpers, transport, fostering ect.
  18. Have just called & given him the number, fingers crossed for them.
  19. I know of a very experienced home in Lincolnshire who is willing to take on both of these little guys. Please let me know if you would like their details.
  20. Is a Beagle x girl, the person who handed her into us told us that she was about 2 years old but her teeth are in a terrible state. Taz was left with a neighbour when her owner went on holiday for two weeks. When the owner returned 4 months later she decided she no longer wanted Taz & went out & got another dog leaving Taz with the young couple next door. Although they liked her they told us they could not afford to keep her. Taz is a nice girl who loves people. She is very strong on her lead so we are walking her on a harness. Taz is now enjoying a good diet & loves chews. She can be quite vocal when excited. Taz is housetrained & good in the car. Taz is vac'd, wormed & frontlined. She will be neutered, chipped & have a dental on Monday 12th November. With her lovely new smile, Taz is now looking for a new home to call her own. Taz is very friendly with other dogs now & loves to play.
  21. This is the lovely Trooper Trooper found himself in rescue at just 12 months old. He is a big boy & still growing. Trooper needs a hip replacement operation. Due to his age he is a very good candidate. For now he is on G & C and will be starting hydrotherapy next week. His xrays from previous vet have shown the start of arthritis in his left hip. On his right hip the socket is bigger than the joint. This lovely boy so much deserves the chance of a happy normal life, please consider helping him. The Big GSD board have kindly offered to administer the fund for Troopers appeal, I shall post a link up later & also include their paypal details. If sending a donation by paypal it will need to be marked 'Troopers Appeal' Many thanks.
  22. Some of my lot Ted, who started it all off. He is a working Beardie now 6, through Beardie rescue Then Romeo, he came at 6 months again through Beardie rescue. He is now 3 & half Baz & Max, they came with my o/h. Had never been in to small dogs before they are the two white Jacks on the left. Behind them is Babe known as Wibbs cos when she wags her tail it wobbles, she is now about 3. She was being given away. The tiny creature in front of her is Molly, she was in an Irish pound & not reclaimed. She went off to Aunty Brenda then came over to us & forgot to leave, she now sleeps on my head. Left to right here we have Molly, Panda( who is due to have cubs in the next few weeks so is staying inside with us) Then Muffin who came from MT almost 3 years ago with a grade 6 heart murmur, after his rather large op he is fine & should live out a normal life. Next to him is Wibbs again & then Max. Last but not least our latest addition is Delyth another Mini Schnauzer, she was bought by a family but their other two large dogs didnt like her & the place she was bought from would not take her back.
